Pacific
Association of Professional Real Estate Appraisers Serving
Providers and Users of Appraisal Services Throughout the Pacific Dear Members, As we start the momentum for the new year I
would like to thank you for your continues support and wish you the very best
of spirits. I know that you’re getting the best value as a member of PAPREA.
We will continue the course to up-grade into the millennium so that we may
serve your needs. The previous year was a definite cross roads
for PAPREA in the terms of technologies, education, and community
involvement. We have advance ourselves in the future by
producing a website that provides our members valuable information with a
stroke of a keyboard. We have paved the way for On-Line Internet
Courses and at present assisting in building the criteria for course
approvals. We have assisted our members with their
educational path by providing sponsored classes and creating a forum of
professionals in the banking, realtor, engineering, environmental, local
government and federal government to speak at our general meeting. We have gotten more involve with the community
by starting a scholarship for students interested in the real
estate/financing industries and donating appraisal publications to the Nieves
Flores Memorial Public Library. Our goal this
year is to continue the momentum and provide our members with the best of
services. We will do this by up-grading our by-laws, inform members of USPAP
changes, inform members of zoning issues (I Tano’Ta), and assist members in
their educational path. Please don’t
hesitate to contact any of the board members or me if you have any questions,
ideas, or concerns about meeting your needs. Alan G. Salas President, PAPREA
