Clinical Digital Library

The Clinical Digital Library is designed to give you fast asccess to patient care knowledge-based information by providing "deep-links" to the contents of electronic resources avvailable on the World Wide Web. It links to both free and subscription services. These links are the most current ones; whenever I hear of a change I update these immediately. See Ms Hadley if you need access information to the subscription sites. The Library is a research project of the Schools of Library and Information Science at the Universities of Alabama and North Texas. The URL is

Crew's Library
|
|
The Crew's (AKA General) Library has been closed. A Paperback Book Exchange (bring one-take-one, in-patients
do not need to bring a trade-in) is available in the Medical Library.

Medical Library
|
|
The physical Medical Library is a professional library for the use of the medical staff, UOG nursing students, other health care professionals on Guam & in Micronesia, & patients with an "Information Prescription" from their healthcare provider. It contains paper collections of medical textbooks (~900) and journals (75 - many of the clinical titles in Abridged Index Medicus) and access to online datbases and resources. The library, located in A-100, is open when Ms Hadley is there. Regular hours are: Monday through Friday 0800-1630. The library is closed weekends, holidays, and when Ms Hadley is on leave. In a medical emmergency a staff member may get the COD to let them in.
