Policies and Procedures Intranet site
Background: A comprehensive intranet site on policies, procedures, rules and regulations from the University of Guam for students, administrators, faculty, staff and tax payers.
Mount Date: Pilot site mounted August 1997. Site removed January 1999.
Team: Linda Austin (design, navigation, editing, organization) for electronic version and full project for print version.
Audience: University community and others.
Notes: This project fell to me as a person of last recourse, for a variety of reasons. I took nearly 1,000 pages of chaotic and unassembled manuscript and created seven print documents and one comprehensive intranet site. The mandate was to keep the site fast, reader-friendly and low-budget. This project consisted of major editing and reorganization. Due to changes in adminstrative directives, the site was discontinued in January 1999.
