| Are you interested in satellites?
Do you often wonder about those slowly moving lights in the
sky? If you do, this is definitely the site of you! Just input your latitude and longitude (you only have to do this once) and you will be presented with a list of all visible satellites for the evening. It also features Iridium flashes and tells you how to find those as well.
The Planetarium is a Partner for the JPL site The Space Place. This is a site mainly for kids, but I've learned a lot there too! The Planetarium has a new board that features materials sent to us from The Space Place. We urge you to visit this wonderful site (both on the Web and in the Planetarium). Participate in the activities and don't forget to tell them you surfed in from Guam, the place with the greatest star-gazing skies in the world.
If you're interested in beautiful pictures of the sky, APOD is the place for you. APOD is Astronomy Picture of the Day and it features space-related photos with explanations written by scientists. The text is full of links, making this a great place to start space exploration.
Visit the Exploratorium. It's a fun place to go to learn about science of all kinds. There are many on-line activities and interactive exhibits.
Looking for the latest space news? Look no further. This site features all the latest news from Hubble, the Mars explorers and Earth-orbiting satellites including the Shuttle. They have a great kids site and even the latest on science fiction both in books and in TV and movies. If you're interested in space, bookmark this one.
