Guam needle exchange group Guam's working group on sterile needle exchange met twice last month. It will assist the Guam HIV/AIDS Prevention Community Planning Group in planning their next forum to educate and guage community support for a needle exchange program on Guam. The forum is tentatively planned for early May. Also, it was announced at the meeting that two working group members received scholarships to attend the North American Syringe Exchange Conference (NASEC VII) in San Diego on April 24-26. Members are also requesting additional funding from local organizations. If you would like to contribute ideas for the forum or funds for the conference, please contact Renata at 734-2055. The group plans another noon meeting in early April at House #2, Dean's Circle, Mangilao.
