MOGETHIN and GREETINGS to friends and church families.
First of all we would like to thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. We are counting on all those supports from you. Josephine and I are doing OK, Praise God! Things to do here are plentiful but as we take little steps and trust God we are able to keep moving ahead.

CHURCH MINISTRIES:
This June 2009 will be the 3rd year anniversary for the Yap Church Of God. We are grateful to God for bring us this far and for what is to come ahead. Lately the Church services have been averaging close to thirty adults in attendants. In the Church we have three ethnic groups which consist of the Yapese, Filipinos, and the outer islanders. We are doing Bible studies in each of these ethnic groups. We are going to start a Sunday school for our children soon. We need some materials for our Sunday schools. We have a person now who help leads our worship on Sunday mornings. An answer to prayers! There is a group on one of the outer islands now that meets to read and study the Bible. The group leader is a by-product of a Bible study group we held on Yap proper. They are requesting for more Bible study materials and requesting that I make a visit to them. Our only State ship to that island takes one week there and one week back. I must visit them soon. Our Church met with the Island Union Fellowship Church on Easter Sunday for service and celebration. We had a great time together. Two of our church attendants were baptized that day.

YAP INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL:
God has added a SCHOOL to our ministry on Yap. We started this year with six students and are planning to double that number next year. This kind of Christian Education is unique and that is what our island needs. I trust that the school will continue to develop and succeed even though it will make us busier next year. The Lord has provided us a property for the School and the Church and we are making plans to build the first building. Praise God, there is a group from Canada that is coming next February. We are excited and thankful to them. We are Praying and Trusting God to speak to people who can come and help us.

SUMMER OF 2009:
We are looking forward to take a short off island break this June. We're thinking of Palau, but if not than Guam. A team from Azusa Pacific University is coming back in June and we have to be here ready for them. Also, in June my wife and I are planning to adopt a baby. Life is getting busier but Praise God anyway. Josephine's mother (Grace) is seriously ill and doesn't have very long to live according to her doctors. She's is still in the hospital but thanks to God she accepted Christ in her life two weeks ago.
