On December 16th, 1997, Super Typhoon Paka passed directly over the island of Guam with sustained winds of 160 miles per hour and gusts at 236 miles per hour, which is the fastest wind speed ever recorded on the face of the earth. Super Typhoon Paka not only blew away Guam's Christmas, but it blew away a few other things too. The next few pictures are compliments of Super Typhoon Paka.....
