Mr. Jeffrey Burgos
Principal

Mr. Jeffrey Burgos was an Assistant Principal for discipline and for supervision of the support staff for two and a half years ago. He returns as Head Principal of Sanchez this year. Expressing his excitement about this assignment, he notes that he has always thought of Sanchez as a good school. Whereas gang problems are present in nearly all schools, he says that a hold of this problem at Sanchez is perhaps not as difficult in other schools. "We need guidance for some students...some lives need something to be given to complete them. We have lots of students involved in truancy, disciplinary discrepancies... weaknesses that can be used to characterize society in general. We need programs."
Burgos cites several goals he wishes to accomplish this accomplish this school year. An increase in graduation rates asserts the fact that the school is preparing more students for life. He wants to see students doing better schoolwork and performing better on standardized testing, which in turn, requires an increase in attendance rates. "I always have a very positive outlook in life. I have this mindset that this year is going to be great. We are going to have a fabulous year because of the great people and that's the way it's going to go.
