Class Rules
1.      Follow directions
2.      Bring required materials to class each day
3.      No swearing, yelling or teasing
4.      Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself
5.      Do not leave the room without permission

4.      Administrative referral

*All major infractions are automatically referred to
the office*

Required Materials
1.      (3) Prong notebook/Folder/3 ring binder for class notes and journals.
2.      Pen or Pencil (no colored pencils, pens, or markers)
3.      Loose leaf paper for reaction papers, seatwork, and homework.

Spiral notebook paper will not be accepted.

Assignments
1.      Class notes
2.      Seatwork - worksheets, lesson reviews, vocabulary, interpreting ideas, applying concepts.
3.      Current Event - using magazine and newspaper articles.
4.      Reaction papers - personal evaluation (your attitudes and feelings) of selected video presentations.
5.      Group Work - role-play, demonstrations, and cooperative lessons that produce actual outcomes in health related areas.
6.      Journals - reflection on personal experiences and feelings on selected health topics.
