Club U-0630 will meet in Sen. Ted Nelson's Vice-Speaker's Conference Room on the 5th of December @ 6:30 P. M.
Mick Flynn, Glenn Hamp, Sara Turner, Ron Munia, and guests Jan Sharkey and Linette.
Secretary Mick opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance @ 6:40. Mick asked each of us to stand and introduce ourselves and tell where we work. Mick was the Toastmaster for the evening. Because of the small turnout everyone took on at least two assignments.
Vicky was our evening's Table topics Master. She called on Paul (2:50) to explain why he would support or not support Prop. B. Glenn (2:12) was asked how he viewed the Environmentalist's concerns about Global Warming. Don (1:08) was asked what he would do if diagnosed HIV with one year to live.
Marie was our Grammarian and said she found just a few errors in grammar. Glenn was our meeting's Wordmaster. He introduced us to "Maniacal" an adjective describing an insane person. Most everyone used the word. Paul performed as the General Evaluator. Vicke took care of the non-word usages fines. Did anyone find a grey elephant that escaped out of the Denmark Zoo?
